An unknown person is misrepresenting himself as a CAWA employee - please assist .....

It has come to our attention that an unknown person, identifying himself as Steve Gonzales, is contacting CAWA members representing himself as an employee of CAWA.  This individual is calling to sell software products and claims to be endorsed by the Association - which he is NOT.  

This individual IS NOT employed by CAWA, and IS NOT in any way affiliated with CAWA.  He is misrepresenting himself and his company.

If you receive a call from someone claiming to be Steve Gonzales, or another individual selling software products and claiming to be with CAWA, help us by doing the following:

1. Gather as much information as possible; i.e. name, company name, telephone number, email, etc.
2. Forward all information to CAWA as soon as you receive the call.
3. Forward information to Rodney Pierini - admin@cawa.org, or Julie Snyder - programs@cawa.org or call the office at 800-332-2292.

Once we have enough information about this individual and his company, we will pursue them legally, as appropriate.

Rest assured, CAWA endorses only quality companies with the highest of integrity.  Also, it is CAWA's procedure to inform you of new and existing programs to keep you up to date should you be contacted by a business partner.  If ever a doubt, visit our web site (www.cawa.org) or contact our office for updated programs and business partners.
