Government Affairs


Decisions and actions by state and federal legislatures and
administrative agencies often times result in a direct positive or
negative impact on your business and the automotive aftermarket
industry. The Association remains vigilant on your behalf in Sacramento,
Carson City, Phoenix, and Washington D.C.
Our
national partner is the Automotive
Automotive
Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA). With our cooperation and
coordination, you are assured of daily vigilance and long term
assistance to remain competitive and free of unnecessary government
intrusion.
The Public Affairs Committee of CAWA, made up of your colleagues in
the industry, guides the Association on legislative, regulatory and
political matters of importance to you. As volunteers, they shape policy
and provide direction to the Association’s legislative team. Members of
