CAWA, along with the repair garage owners association (Automotive Service Councils of California), will be holding the third annual Industry Summit in Sacramento next month. You are invited to attend and participate in the Summit with your colleagues, co-workers and commercial customers.
The agenda for the Summit will include issues and solution discussions on a variety of contemporary operations and circumstances facing the automotive aftermarket in 2012.
Example discussion items are: - Training in the industry, what's available and how do you engage people to participate, including scholarship giving.
- What is the image the industry wants to project and what attracts people to come into the industry including incentives.
- The industry is transforming, particularly technologically, in the daily conduct of business between suppliers and customers.
- A sharing of legislative agendas, including how to respond to a most current attack on the aftermarket industry.
Discussion on warranties and a standard labor claim form. - Strength in industry unity.
