Authored by Assemblyman Ed Hernandez, ACR 152 seeks to recognize the
considerable contribution of the automotive aftermarket to the
state's economy, transportation system, and environmental
stewardship while also providing robust consumer choices for the
transportation needs of Californians. The resolution also recognizes
and supports the designation of April as National Car Care Month and
encourages all citizens to participate in activities that promote

to Comments by Air Resources Board Relative to California’s Smog
Check Program
Six statewide trade organizations representing California’s
automotive service and repair industry have called on the California
Air Resources Board (CARB) to issue a retraction over misleading
statements made to the media relative to “widespread fraud” in the
state’s smog check program and have issued the following joint
statement.
